Poetic Philosophy - Rallying the artists to depose the Absolute

The dour and exacting language of philosophy bores the sensual and artistic souls among us and challenges even the best minds. As we doubt our capacity to approach certain questions we are attracted to them as they repel our attacks. Poetry, as one of the raw arts, can come to our aid.

Poetry permits us to bypass the logical habits of the minds and we may try to navigate to the center of our interest using our hearts and souls, accumulated experience and intuition.

We will not have to answer the question of perceptive awareness – "what is it?" – but respond to perception intimately - taking it in and turning out a poetic insight. The product of this process will certainly not be knowledge but perhaps wisdom.

And who will be the victim of this inquiry? I hope it will be the Absolute!
